A health education session for our Mothers Group was successfully conducted at the Chimalaya Charity Nepal (CCN) office by CCN Board Member Mr. Bal Sundar Chansi Shrestha.

The session focused on major childhood eye problems and the importance of early eye examinations for newborns and children. Topics discussed included congenital cataract, congenital glaucoma, retinoblastoma, strabismus, ophthalmia neonatorum, lazy eye (amblyopia), refractive errors, ptosis, and other common childhood eye conditions.

Mothers were educated on recognizing early warning signs, seeking timely medical care, and the importance of regular eye check-ups to prevent avoidable vision loss and blindness.
